After mother remarried, Dru ran off to Stanford, where she earned her BFA in Legal Studies and History in record time. Law school was interrupted, however, when Dru’s mom was diagnosed with cancer, and Dru returned to help. During her mom’s treatment, she started working as a nanny to the Novak family. It’s been three years and her mom’s cancer’s in remission, but Dru finds herself in the same place; and she’s not sure if she wants to change that.
